"My first chart was interesting. After a few confirmations of names and places, me being born a sceptic, watched closely as Vee put down her pen and looked at me, puzzled. She said “ you are going to think I’m crazy, but your guide is a wolf!” “That would explain something.” I answered."

I’ve never been accepted for an insurance policy as I’ve never passed the medical. Three days later I phoned her to apologise that I tested her. She was delighted when I told her that I’m now immensely insured.

You will bump into him soon.” Four days later a girlfriend from work and I were on the way to cricket as we had “comps” from a company. I stopped at a stop sign in a residential area. As I turned the corner we felt the bump of a minor accident, the bump loud enough to startle me. This guy gets out of his bakkie and his German Shepherd pops off the back. He waves his hand and says “My mom’s place is down the road, follow me.” Suspicious, we followed.

The family came out, offered us tea and were nothing but great. Then his little niece of 9 years of age shouts at him “Are you stupid, you nearly killed your wife.” She was wearing a butterfly T-shirt.

We agreed to go to the police station together when his dog, Sasha, instead of jumping on the back of his bakkie popped into my car and wouldn’t budge, happily wagging her tail.

We did not get to the cricket, but we got married a year later to the day. We wanted to name our daughter after V but she joked that we shouldn’t do that to the little love. So, we named her Gail, V’s second name. We love you, Angel woman."
